Susan married the love of her life, Donald Prince, on March 8, 1969. Together, they raised two wonderful children where their home was always filled with warmth and laughter.
Susan served as a teacher's aide at Steele Street Elementary School in Mason for 22 years. Her nurturing spirit impacted countless kindergarten students and their families. An avid lover of nature, Susan enjoyed spending time by the pond in her neighborhood, often gathering with friends and neighbors. She had a passion for reading and read several hundred books on her kindle. Above all else, Susan loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Susan is survived by her beloved husband: Donald Prince; children: Kevin Prince and Wendy Thompson; grandchildren: Ethan Thompson and Sarah Thompson; siblings: Tom Simmons and Jim Simmons; and several nieces and nephews.
