Wilma A. Wolfe

Mason, Michigan

Entered into heaven and saw Jesus face to face on July 31, 2013. Wilma was born in Clare County on June 28, 1918 to Hazel (Lane) and Clinton Cochran. She later moved to Lansing, where she attended Eastern High School, and met and later married Vern M. Wolfe. She worked many years as a seamstress for Sears, Arboughs, and Knapp’s. After retiring they enjoyed traveling with their motor home and also took trips to Spain and Hawaii. Wilma liked to paint pictures and show them at the Ingham County Fair. She attended Mason United Methodist Church where she was very active. She loved her family, and always had a smile when they showed up to visit. She was a very loving and gracious wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves her memories and great faith in God to her son, Robert (Sharron) Wolfe; daughters, Nancy Woodman, Carole (Donald) Van Dyke; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and sister, Lucille (Leonard) LaCourse. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Vern M. Wolfe; son-in-law, Ernest C. Woodman, Jr.; her parents, sister and two brothers and their spouses. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan; with Rev. Donald VanDyke officiating, interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. Visitation will be on Monday at 12:00 P.M., 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
