Alfonso "Al/Fofo" Dimora

78 years of age, of Willoughby Hills, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 20, 2022. Reunited in heaven with his loving wife Janet. Son of the late Vincenzo and Gaetana (Santalucia). Survived by his four proud children Vincent G. (Lisa), Dominic, Daughter-in-law Michelle, Regina Funtash (Duane), and Alisa Pistone (Rosario). Grandchildren Dominic, Elana, Giana, Gabriella (deceased), Deborah, Alexa, Vincent Jr. and Natalie. Loving brother of Antonio “Tony” (wife Mary, both deceased), Joseph (wife Nina), Georgette Tudisco (husband Stefano deceased), Marie DeFabio (husband Anthony deceased) and Frank. An adoring uncle to his nieces, nephews, and a loyal friend to many… He arrived in Canada at a very young age before establishing his roots in Cleveland, Ohio. An established barber with many competitive trophies he was awarded. In addition to being a wonderful role model to his family, he was a Karate Black Belt, avid football fan and loved playing & coaching his sons baseball teams. For 30 years he was a full time union textile truck driver supporting his family. Al enjoyed watching the Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, Fog Horn Leg Horn and his laughing was contagious. He passed down his love of music and singing along to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling & vacationing and had the opportunity to return back to his home town in Sicily after 70 years.
