Anna V. Shaw, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. She was born on December 22, 1931, in Lore City, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents Andras and Sophia (Liptak) Hazuga, and brothers John and Paul Hazuga. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, devout Catholic, music lover, avid gardener and recipe collector. In her younger days she worked at the Cambridge Glass Company, and later at Central National Bank of Cleveland before entering married life. She was lucky enough to attend a Cleveland Indians World Series game in 1954. Anna loved her home in Highland Heights, enjoying her spacious backyard for its park-like beauty. She is survived by her loving family: husband, Emil, daughter, Mary Lynn (Thomas) Gilbert, and grandson, Frederick Gilbert. Donations to the Hattie Larlham Foundation in Anna’s memory would be gratefully accepted. Burial will be at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery Lewis Center, Ohio.
