Beloved husband of the late Gloria (nee Finney); dearest father of Joseph and Tom (Tina, deceased); loving grandfather of Alisa Canganelli (Anthony) and great grandfather of Giovanni and Valentina; dear brother of Nick (Christine)(both deceased).
Known as “the man with many stories,” Tony had a special way of making everyone feel welcome. Anyone who walked through his door felt like family and was sure to leave with a smile. He was a true people person who loved chatting with family and friends, sharing words of wisdom, and reminiscing about his beloved hometown of Wellsville.
Tony created countless memories with his boys, taking them hunting, fishing, camping, picnicking, and on many other adventures. He also loved his trips to the Middlefield Auction, where he became known as “Tony Dollar.”
Above all, Tony loved his family. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren meant the world to him. There was nothing quite like the smile that lit up his face whenever his great-grandchildren walked through the door. They brought him a joy like no other.
Tony leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, wisdom, and stories that will be shared for generations. Though he will be deeply missed, there is comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his beautiful wife, Gloria.
The family will receive friends Tuesday November 10 from 4 to 7 pm at THE DiCICCO AND SONS FUNERAL HOME 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS. Private inurnment will be at Knollwood Cemetery.
