

Anthony “Tony” Ticchione, 99, died on December 3rd, 2021, at Brentwood Health Care Center.
Anthony was born on December 28, 1921, in Rossiter, PA, the son of Domenico and Elizabeth DeFrank Ticchione.
He attended Collinwood High School and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. To the very end, Uncle Tony loved a good meal, especially when it could be shared with family. He enjoyed watching old western movies and knew all the actors by name. Anthony was introduced to painting at Brentwood Health Care Center where he lived for the last several years. He leaves behind many beautiful paintings for his family to enjoy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Domenic Ticchione, two sisters in infancy, and nephew-in-law Greg Lopez.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Flora Ticchione and nephews and nieces, Domenic (Kathy) Ticchione, Betty Lopez, David (Becky) Ticchione and Michael (Mary Ellen) Ticchione. Nine great nephews and nieces: Domenic Michael, Lisa, Valerie, Gregory, Joseph, Elizabeth, Domenic Anthony, Liliana, and Michael. And twelve great-great nephews and nieces: Vinnie, Danielle, Maria, Michael, Nicholas, Domenic, Maxwell, Graham, Nico, Tazio, Olivia, and Joslynn.
Visitation for Anthony will be at DiCicco & Sons 5975 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, OH on Tuesday, December 7th from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrate his life on Wednesday, December 8th at 11 AM at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Avenue, Cleveland, OH. Interment will be at Lake View Cemetery.
The family wishes to give thanks to Brentwood Health Care Center and their caregivers for the excellent care and kindness shown to Anthony while he resided there. Those who wish to remember Anthony in a special way may make gifts in his memory to their favorite charity.
