BARBARA ANN BRUGGEMAN age 72, passed away in the comfort of her home, with her daughter by her side, the morning of April 11, 2021. She had COPD and lung cancer. She was the beloved mother of Stephanie Bosler (Dave); loving and devoted grandmother, “Bobbie” of Lili and Ben Bosler. She was preceded in death by her father James Hooper, mother Florence French and beloved brother Gary Hooper (Cheryl). She will be missed by her sister Cherie Santos (Marcos), her beloved niece Melanie Hooper, nephew and niece Josh Fox and Rosa Santos, great nieces and nephews Chelsea, Landry, Keanan, Ian, Morgan, Erin, and Haleigh. She was their “lightbulb”. Her bright, exuberant personality left a memorable impression wherever she went. She was loved and will be missed. She held many decades long friendships that she treasured. Full of joy, a vivid imagination, and a little mischief, she was an “enabler of whimsy” and enjoyed shenanigans, contagious fits of laughter, and playfulness. Children and animals loved her, and she them. She was passionate, supportive, nurturing, and loving. A laid back but ready for adventure free spirit with a twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes and a sparkle in her friendly smile. She loved music and art. She would go “to infinity and beyond” to make you feel special and welcome. She attended many of her grandkids‘ events and performances and always beamed with pride of their accomplishments. She wanted to be here for more. She was so brave.
A private service will be held and a Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
