Betty R. Metzger, 98, of Painesville Township, passed away August 24, 2026 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. She was born January 3, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late George and Lulu Clapper. Betty worked over 20 years at Reliance Electric as a secretary retiring in the early 1990’s. She is survived by her son Glen of Willoughby. Preceding Betty in death are her husband, George E. Metzger; daughter, Gale Metzger; brother William Clapper and sister Marie Bridgeman.
