Catherine Rose Hrestak, our beloved mother, passed away on September 17, 2025, after a long, fulfilling and beautiful life. Born on January 5, 1940, in Belle Vernon, PA, Catherine devoted her life to her family and her faith. She was a kind and generous soul, known especially for her thoughtfulness and unwavering strength in the face of many challenges including rheumatoid arthritis. She retired after 41 years from KeyBank where she was a supervisor in the check processing department and made many lifelong friends. Above all she was a dedicated parent and loving spouse. Her husband Tony preceded her in death in 2014 after 53 years of marriage. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Sandy) and Charlie (Amanda), her grandchildren Nicole Polo (Sam), Anthony (Megan), Jonathan (Haley) and Jimmy (Sarah); great grandchildren Aria, Roma, Farra, Wyatt, Lincoln, Scarlett, Dominic, Theodore and Lucas and sister Marie Brame (Tom, deceased). In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Sisters of Notre Dame 13000 Auburn Rd, Chardon, OH 44024. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday October 22 at Sts.
