We are shocked to hear this very sad news and the loss of someone way too young. I always enjoyed hearing your stories, you had some good ones to tell. You were every animals best friend! You were strong, beautiful, funny, and a very caring and loving person. It will be sad to see Denise without you, you were each other's, other half for so long, when we see her, we will always think of you. May you always rest in peace and always live on in the thoughts, memories and stories that are told. Sending love, thoughts and prayers to all your loved ones. Fly high, Love the Harsh Family.

I heard the sad news from my mother today. I wish so much that I'd made more of an effort to keep in touch with Cathy. But there was "I can always do it later." How can I condense so many childhood memories into a few lines? All the summertime adventures we had down at The Creek. Remember when we thought bigfoot lived there and we were scared to go after dark? Looking at old Mad magazines in your attic, walking your dog Chuck (I think that was his name). I remember when you first became a vegetarian, and looking through old Outdoor Life magazines and writing anti-hunting letters to the editor. I wish I'd gotten a chance to show you all I'd done with my art and writing, but there was "I can always do it later." But now later will never come.

Cathy dated my brother years ago when my two oldest children were very young. They are now parents themselves. She was so much fun & enjoyed doing things with my kids. I remember them baking cupcakes once & they had a ball. She was a beautiful person & I will always remember her smile & laugh. True advocate for animals . Im so shocked! So sorry for her mom & all those who knew her ๐Ÿ˜ข RIP Cathy. Hope you have lots of pets in heaven. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿด ๐Ÿ’•&๐Ÿ™

You will always be Missy to me! I remember staying with you when we were kids and what fun we had! My heart is very heavy with your passing. I canโ€™t seem to wrap my head around it. There is a very special place for you in heaven. Iโ€™m sure you will be in charge of all the animals that have crossed the rainbow bridge but if you have a moment please wrap your arms around Grams and Pappy and Mom and Dad for me and tell them I really miss them. You will always hold a special place in my heart โค๏ธ

The animal advocacy community lost a powerful voice for the voiceless. You will be missed.

Cathy - I cant even believe it, Iโ€™m in shock. You were so amazing. I loved how much your loved and advocated for all animals. I enjoyed our many talks over the wall. I always wanted more time to absorb all your wisdom. How extremely kind you were to me about my baking and dreams. My heart is so heavy at hearing of your passing. I was most certain you were going to Live forever with your never quit attitude about anything you were passionate about. The wonderful birthday celebration you invited me to with you and your Mom and select group of friends and family. A night I will never forget full of stories , great food and lots of laughs. I appreciated all your help last year when I was going through so much and even though you were as well, you came over to help me. Sorry I never had a real chance to repay you for everything and never got to make the adorable kitty cupcakes I had always promised. You will be missed by many. Thank you for your friendship.

Where to start. We had so much laughter and fun. Standing in front of the Clinic to protest animal experimentation was an enlightening experience for sure. Volunteering at Bioneers was something she willingly did. I will miss you very much dear Cathy but I know the rainbow bridge was full when you arrived home. Rest now, I am sure there is someone out there you can advocate for........
