

He was a member of Second Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and a 1980 graduate of Shaker Heights High School where he was a champion wrestler. At an early age, Chubby learned to operate heavy equipment while working construction with his father. Chubby became known as one the of the best machine operators in the city of Cleveland.
He leaves to cherish his memory beloved wife, Vivian; children, Clifton IV, Dominique, and Delonzo; father, Clifton Hodge Jr.; sisters, Veronica Thomas, Lisa (Robert Jr.) Wirt, Carla L. and Theresa Hodge, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 4pm-8pm at DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Road Mayfield Heights. Wake service Thursday 10am at Second Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 11901 Union Avenue, followed by funeral service at 11am. Rev. Lyneil D. Nash, officiant. Interment Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
