Born July 30, 1956, Tina passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a lengthy illness. Cherished daughter of Gino Camino (Nikki) and Carol McGrotty, treasured sister of Michael (Sue), adored wife of Robert (Bob), devoted mother to Colin (Jessica) and Ryland (Kristin), and beloved “Nonna” to Sadie and Ryland, Jr. The daughter of an Italian immigrant, Tina was fiercely proud of her heritage. Her special bond with her grandmother, Concetta (“Nonna”), would be a guiding light throughout her life. Tina valued love, kindness, creativity, and empathy. She also believed in the value of hard work and sacrifice for one’s family. She loved to travel, especially her trips with family to Italy, France, and the American West. Among her greatest legacies will be the wonderful family history and photo books that she meticulously researched, curated and produced with love and joy. A beloved niece, cousin, and friend of many, Tina will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. The family will receive visitors at THE DiCICCO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS. OH 44124, on Saturday, October 12th from 2-5 pm. Following visitation, her family will close with a few words. Tina wished for a celebration of her life which will be held at a yet to be determined date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Tina’s name to The Gathering Place, where she and her family sought comfort and wisdom, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the largest funder of research to advance cures for blood cancers.
