CONCETTINA "TINA" CAMINO SMITH Born July 30, 1956, Tina passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a lengthy illness. Cherished daughter of Gino Camino (Nikki) and Carol McGrotty, treasured sister of Michael (Sue), adored wife of Robert (Bob), devoted mother to Colin (Jessica) and Ryland (Kristin), and beloved “Nonna” to Sadie and Ryland, Jr. The daughter of an Italian immigrant, Tina was fiercely proud of her heritage. Her special bond with her grandmother, Concetta (“Nonna”), would be a guiding light throughout her life. Tina valued love, kindness, creativity, and empathy. She also believed in the value of hard work and sacrifice for one’s family. She loved to travel, especially her trips with family to Italy, France, and the American West. Among her greatest legacies will be the wonderful family history and photo books that she meticulously researched, curated and produced with love and joy. A beloved niece, cousin, and friend of many, Tina will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. The family will receive visitors at THE DiCICCO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS. OH 44124, on Saturday, October 12th from 2-5 pm. Following visitation, her family will close with a few words. Tina wished for a celebration of her life which will be held at a yet to be determined date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Tina’s name to The Gathering Place, where she and her family sought comfort and wisdom, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the largest funder of research to advance cures for blood cancers.

You taught me so much about true friendship, work ethic, family values and how to balance it all... You are my HERO! I love you Tina and you will always be apart of who I am.
You were the best boss and friend..I could not have hand picked one better than when God gave me you!
My heart goes out to Bob, the boys and their families and especially your grand babies I know they just stole your heart.
I pray you are at peace and I will see you on the other side... RIP my beautiful friend.
I will carry you in my heart until I see you again.
I Love you, and I’m so glad you knew that and I told you often. I’ll leave a light on for you🙏🙏🙏❤️

Awwww my Bella Tina,

My dearest friend...
I’ve sat down to write this a dozen times, but can’t seem to find the right words (that was always your department😊)
or get through it without tears and heaviness in my chest....
I just can’t believe your gone.. we were supposed to get together again.....I’m so sorry.. I thought we had more time.....
I truly believed in my heart that you would get better because you are one of the strongest people I know. I miss you. 😞
We’ve know each other for 30 yrs.... you hired me when I was 17...you were my first boss...I loved working with you and Bob. You opened your home and heart to everyone you knew...
I have so many wonderful memories of you and your family... our get togethers at your house....you taught me how to make homemade sauce.. (which I still use your recipe to this day) ❤️on occasion you trusted me to babysit Ry and Col.....so you and Bob could have date nights.... I barely survived 😂😂, you would always ask “how were the boys for you”, and I always said “good”.. lying through my teeth.. lol they kept me on my toes and never a dull moment with them ....but I wouldn’t change a moment, a memory or time spent with you and your family for anything in the world... you were always and still are a bright light, you made me a better person.
You always tried to find the positive in every situation no matter how small... I will miss your wisdom, advice, smile and your unique loving personality with a side of a little fireball Italian.
Most of all I’ll miss your laugh... you had the best laugh, ya know the one that makes you laugh harder just by hearing it.. that was you❤️
One of my many favorite memories was when you and Bob took me to my first Eagles concert ... we had so much fun and I remember thinking I’m not sure who these “Eagles” are 😂but they sounded really good! I love the Eagles now, because of you... and every time I hear one of their songs it takes me back to that night with you guys...I❤️You!!

Tina always radiated love. You could see it in the sparkle in her eyes. She always amazed us with her strength, courage and excitement for life, even in her last moments.
Our moments with her will be treasured. We are blessed and honoured to have shared a few with her and her family.

To her family, our prayer for each of you will be to remember her love. She is always with us and now you have an angel watching over you to guide you in your time of need.

All our love,
George, Mary, Elise & Melaina

Tina was just a toddler when we moved to Cleveland in 1959, delightful even then, already blessed by the loveliness and grace that grew with her as she matured and that enriched many lives.

Words can't explain the lost I feel but i will try my best. Tina was my employer and my friend for 22yrs.  She was the kind of person that will check up on you even when she wasn't feeling well. Tina always gave words of wisdom to me and her words brought out the best in me. I have many fun memories working with Tina . She showed me the ropes and taught me a skill to help me through life.
I will miss her  larger than life personality. To the family my heart goes out to you and to everyone who loved Tina. She will be missed and remembered. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18

Tina was the most amazing and brilliant woman I've ever known. She was the best cousin I could ever ask for, she was always there for me, always went the extra mile, and loved and supported me through all my dark days. She braved everything with a smile, she was the inspiration of many, and I loved her with my entire heart and soul. The last conversation we ever had was the week before she passed, she said "There isn't much I can add Amber. Just choose your friends wisely, do things to care for yourself, be kind and never give up ;*" I'm so glad I got the opportunity to tell you how much you meant to me and thank you for everything you've done for us. Please watch over me, mia bellissima cugina. I will try to be strong.
