

Mae LoParo (Domenica) age 97 of Mayfield Hts , Ohio passed on to be with our Lord on July 3rd 2026. Mae came from a large, loving family: She was the beloved daughter of Jennie (Ianuzzo) and Alfonso Alaimo. She was a dear sister to Lou(Stella), Sam(Andrea & Annie), Jenny Piazza (Al), George Alaimo (Rosette), Mead Alaimo (Dolores), and is survived by her sister Flo & spouse Bob Antol in Temecula, CA. Mae was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Aunt to many. Mae had a love for family. She treated everyone as a mother and many friends of her children thought of her as their own mom. She was a generous lady and caregiver who gave the very best of everything she had before her own self. Mae was very energetic and enjoyed to laugh. Her famous quote was “Laughter is the best medicine followed by, “ a little chocolate helps too”. Mae enjoyed traveling with her life-long friend Joyce. In the early years, she helped her family by working at Fulton Reed at the Union commerce building in downtown Cleveland and the old Cleveland Indians Stadium. On August 11, 1956, she married the love of her life, Tony LoParo. They built a beautiful life and raised three surviving children: Anthony & spouse Dawn LoParo; Steven & spouse Carol Culler LoParo; Lydia & spouse Robert Arnost, including 6 Grandchildren: Marissa & David Hudak; Christina & Marko Janjetovic; Tony LoParo; Michael & Kaileen Pietrantone-LoParo; Nicholas & Melinda Arnost; Robert Arnost; Allison & Chris Love, and Nathan & Justin Kahle. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren: Leo Arnost, Harper & Georgia Hudak, and many loving nieces and nephews. Mae was a devoted child of Christ & parishioner at the St. Clare Church in Mayfield Hts, and loved spending time with her children & grandchildren instilling the traditions of a magnificent era." As the beautiful soul of our Mother & grandmother Dominica “Mae” LoParo now rests with Our Father, The Lord in heaven, her beloved spirit will continue to shine and live on in the hearts of all she touched.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Tuesday July 7 at St. Clare Church. Interment All Souls Cemetery.
