Dorothy Marie Washington

Born on July 11, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Gizella Madison (Balazek).

She retired after decades of customer service from a local cable company. She also spent many years serving her community through the local Lions Club.

She enjoyed slot machines, BINGO, playing games, traveling, partying with friends, music, puzzles and endless M.A.S.H.

Dorothy was very passionate about her family. Her favorite titles were Mom and Grandma. She was truly one of a kind and they broke the mold after they made her.

Dorothy is survived by her brother, Ralph Madison; daughters, Jeraldine (Jeff) Carpenter and Rebecca (Mohammad) Green, and son Benjamin (Lisa) Washington; Grandchildren, Brittany (John) Smerke, Tara Washington, Brandy Jarrell, Kristen (Shawn) Shenker, Joseph (Jenna) Green, Monica (Chase) Green, Benjamin (Alexa) Washington, Sara Washington, Madison (Nate) Carpenter, Thorr (Brenna) Carpenter, Haylee Carpenter, Journey Washington, and another on the way; Great-grandchildren, John, Elizabeth, Kinsley, Damon, Erich, Cody, Kayleigh, Richard, Wyatt, Evan, Alyssa, Jacob, Joshua, Sean, Hailey, Peyton, Joey, Logan, Silas, and Waylon; countless nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends who have become family!
