EDWARD C. LAPP, age 89. Beloved husband for 63 years of Angelina (nee Mancuso); loving father of Mary Jo, Anna Marie Taylor (husband John), and James (wife Debbie); devoted grandfather of Gregory Baumann (wife Shannon), Theresa Ann Lapp, and Francis Taylor; great grandfather of Madeline Baumann; brother-in-law of Rae Manocchio, Mike (deceased), Annie Mancuso, Betty Puleo, Steve, Jennie Mazzaferri, Mario (deceased), Clara Jean Rizzo, Russell (deceased) and Pam Thaler; loving uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Ed was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a past Scout Master of Troop 401. When his son became too old for Boy Scouts, Ed became Post Advisor of St. Angela’s Explorer Post 401 so all of his children could be part of the scouting program. Scouting and his family were his life even after he entered the nursing home. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. The family would like to thank Ennis Court for the wonderful care you gave our father and husband. You made Ed feel like he was at home and showed him love every day. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 am Wednesday December 9 at St. Angela Merici Church, Fairview Park. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
