We have lost a treasure who cared for us each time we visited from England, with Pat and nephew Stu. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She and George bent over backwards to make our stays memorable, and we'll carry those memories always.
Knowing Elaine, she'll already be making her presence felt up there, and let's hope it's with that inimitable Geordie accent that she would so easily lapse into after only a short time of being with us.
Forever in our thoughts.
Love Max and Madeleine.

My aunty Elaine and uncle George were always welcoming and so generous to us when myself and my wife Pat visited them during our road trips around the USA with our friends Max and Madeleine. Aunty Elaine would fuss around us cooking meals making sure we had everything we needed, she would take us around the local area making sure anyone we met knew that we were her family visiting from England. We loved our times spent with Aunty Elaine, uncle George, my cousin Sheena and her husband Glen.
You are all in our thoughts, love to all the family.
RIP aunty Elaine love Stewart

My fondest memory was the Derby Day luncheon Elaine hosted on her deck for the DBE ladies. So much fun and laughter and a perfect setting. I’m sure she is entertaining our DBE sisters in heaven. God’ s peace to you George and Sheena.

I am going to miss my friend Elaine. I used to tease her that I loved her in spite of the fact that she was from the wrong side of the tract. Elaine was from Southern Ireland and I was born in Northern Ireland. I would pretend that people from the North were smarter. She would laughs at me and never get offended. I spent many a happy hour with her. Life will no longer be the same now that she has left us. Goodbye my wonderful friend. Love you so much Sandy
