Online condolences and guest registry www.diciccoandsonsfh.com It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved George. A dedicated, loving husband, a loving stepson, a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great uncle, loved by all his family and friends. Grounded in faith, George was known for his compassionate kind heart, positive attitude, and love of life, always there to listen or lend a hand, a true and trusted confidant. To know George was to love him. His smile, hugs, strength, and laughter lit up a room. His kindness was unmatched, his presence comforting, and his heart immeasurably generous. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of being with family and friends. He loved deeply and unconditionally. George leaves behind his wife of 37 years, losing a piece of her heart the day he passed. Her partner, best friend, her everything. His absence leaves an ache words cannot touch. George also had a special place in his heart for Fran, his developmentally disabled sister-in-law, who went to heaven before him. He never missed a daily phone call or a weekly visit, and the love and joy he brought to her life was something truly special. His love of cooking was evident in flavor and presentation; it was always a thrill to be on the receiving end. His love for fishing was more than a hobby. He enjoyed sharing with others the peacefulness with nature fishing brings and the hope of catching the next "big one". He had a passion to pass down his love of fishing in its simplest form for future generations to enjoy. Grateful for the time we had with him, his unwavering love and guidance throughout the years, a true inspiration of strength, love, and faith. His love of life and the joy he brought into our lives will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes a donation to the Amy Sambula Memorial Spirit Scholarship Villa Angela-St. Joseph School or American Red Cross.
