I was sorry to learn of the loss of your dad.  We all know that he has gone to a better place.  Thank  you for sharing some of the good times you spend with your dad.  I know you will miss him. It was a pleasure working with and having John as a member of the GE, NELA Park, Grounds Maintenance team and later the Group Leader in this department for many years, until his retirement. He was knowledgeable about the landscaping and grounds keeping needs and requirements of this beautiful and historical property, and knew how to work in harmony with his fellow workers and supervisors. John will be sourly missed by his family and GE friends, but I know his memory will remain in a special place in everyone's head and heart, especially mine! My prayers are with you John!  Ron Danna

Giovanni Family and Friends,
I've known John from Nela Park for many, many years; and he was a truly significant person for the grounds keeping; besides keeping his family in his uppermost priorities.  I remember he and his wife, coming to Nela for  retirement counselling; it was a treasured moment to observe and know they worked through 'things' together.  They have a blessed family and I was so glad to have worked with, associated with and enjoyed Giovanni's company while we worked together in Facilities at Nela Park for many years.
