GRAZIELLA PINZONE (née Vitale) July 1, 1932 to March 13, 2022. It is with profound sadness that the family of Graziella Pinzone announce her peaceful passing on March 13th, 2022, at the age of 89 years. She lived a long and full life. She was a wonderful mother, and loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all her friends and family here and abroad and will always hold a place in our hearts.
Graziella was the devoted wife of Giuseppe Pinzone (deceased), married 52 years. She was the treasured daughter of Giacomo and Maria Vitale (both deceased); born in the village of Longi, in the province of Messina, Sicily; married and resided in the city of Sant'Agata di Militello; and was a resident of Gap (Hautes-Alpes), France, for fourteen years where she was trained as an expert seamstress. Her baking brought the family together. She loved spending time in her vegetable garden. And she was a meticulous homemaker with a beautiful singing voice. Graziella was a keen student of geography, enjoyed politics and loved discussing current events. She never missed her evening prayers and spent her Sundays in church. The last year of her life was spent in Florida with her youngest daughter, Carluccia, where she volunteered at Craig’s Pantry of Broward County helping the less fortunate. But most of all she got to meet the newest member of the family, Ella Rayne, seeing her great granddaughter take her very first step.
She is the dearest mother of Angela (Tuccia) Pinzone-Margenau (husband Tom Margenau); Bianca Gardner (husband Jeffrey Gardner) and Carla Pinzone. She is also survived by her loving sister Rosetta Sotera (Joseph, deceased) and brother Albert Umberto Vitale (Virginia); She was predeceased by her sisters, Agatuccia Vitale of Sicily and Enrichetta (Rhea) Lesti (husband Floyd), brothers Giuseppe Vitale (wife Christina), Leone Vitale (wife Elvira) of Naples, Italy, and Franco Vitale (wife Yolanda) of Rome, Italy; She was the beloved grandmother of Michael, Thomas, Joseph and Nicholas; and great grandmother of Ella, Lucy and Ruby, as well as an aunt to nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the DiCICCO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS. OH 44124, MONDAY March 21st from 4-7 pm.
