I can still remember my Mom and Mrs. Dearie laughing at our kitchen table about one thing or another. They enjoyed working together, where they met and became friends. Mrs. Dearie was among the friends who helped my Mother make canapes for my wedding, and then showed up at our backyard reception to serve them. I hope Irene and Dottie are together once more sharing a laugh and an adventure!
