Jo Ann Fiorino:  a woman whom I got to know through her daughter, Shari, a high school classmate of mine.  I will never forget the love and kindness she showed me over the years.  She honored me by allowing her to call her Mom, not by her first name or Mrs. Fiorino for years after graduation from high school.   I will NEVER forget you.    Rest in peace.

All who knew Jo Ann are shocked and grieving at her sudden death.  I am heartbroken and will forever miss her bright presence in my life - our lunches and dinners together, sharing stories, laughter, and sometimes tears. Jo Ann was a most wonderful friend, warm and welcoming to all.  My heartfelt sympathy to her loving family.

JoAnn was in my silver Sneaker Sneakers class.. She was always laughing and telling us about her family. She was a very happy person. God will be happy to have her. You will be missed




My deepest sympathy to all her loved ones. I remember Jo Ann fondly, for her hospitality, delicious food, and love of plants. She shared a leaf cutting from one of her prized violets with me (in what feels like a lifetime ago), which i carried on the long drive back home to Canada and nurtured into a full plant that thrived for years. Jo Ann is remembered as generosity and hospitality wrapped up in a sparkling personality.

I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW SAD I AM TO BE LOSING MY DEAR SWEET FRIEND, JO ANN.  THERE ARE A GROUP OF US WHO MEET ONCE A MONTH FOR LUNCH (WE CALL OURSELVES THE MAYFIELD GIRLS).   WE HAVE HAD MANY GREAT TIMES BEING TOGETHER - LOTS OF LAUGHS AND A FEW TEARS TOO.   WE WILL MISS YOU JO ANN YOU WERE THE CHERRY ON TOP OF ALL THOSE LUNCHES.   UNTIL WE MEET YOU AND PEGGY AGAIN AT THE BIG LUNCHEON WITH ALL OUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES RIP, MY FRIEND.

This was such a shock - We have known Jo Ann and family for over 50 years - What a wonderful and gracious women she was - and I only have the fondest memories of all we shared. Our condolences to all the family - She will be missed!

I only knew joann through Silver Sneakers exericise classes but I'm glad that I had the opportunity. the class won't be the same without her.

I had the great pleasure of having Jo Ann in the silver sneaker classes I teach for the past few years. She always brought laughter and joy with her- so much life in that girl! I am sure going to miss her.

Our hearts go out to the family of Mrs. Fiorino, a joyous, faithful servant of God.  Regardless of the many hats she wore, she always seemed to show up with the same smile, and caring heart.  Thank you for being the example of faith, hope and love we all aspire to be.
