

Joyce Allin entered her heavenly home February 3, 2025 at the young age of 71. She was born in Detroit Michigan on March 3,1953 to Regner and Donna Zimmerman.
She graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1971 then attended John Carroll University where she studied accounting and finance, received her Masters and worked as an accountant/CPA. Former Controller at Women’s Federal Savings Bank in Cleveland, OH., KPMG Peat Marwick and finally Apple Scientific owned by her and her husband Ray.
Joyce married her high school sweetheart Raymond Stanley Peltz Jr in January 1978. Two children Raymond Stanley Peltz III (Justine) and Julia Fulton (Rick). Three grandchildren Raymond, Jackson and Alyssa. After Ray’s untimely death, Joyce later married Geoffrey Allin.
Joyce is survived by her children and grandchildren. Brother Kurt (Carol) Zimmerman and sister Karen (Matt) Caputo. Sisters-in-law Mary Ann (Stefan) and Joanne and Mother-in-law Evelyn Peltz-as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Predeceased by husbands Raymond S Peltz Jr. and Geoffrey Allin, her sister-in-law Kathy Peltz, Father-in- law Raymond S Peltz Sr, Parents Regner and Donna Zimmerman, nephew-in-law Joseph Feudi.
Joyce had a LOVE of the color purple. Growing up her room, carpet, walls, bedspreads and clothing were all purple. The gifts she gave were purple! She loved shopping, especially sales and later online! Her diet included a plethora of desserts and Diet Coke. She enjoyed Beanie Babies, plays, parties, games, traveling and especially genealogy. Many trips involved her genealogy studies. She was thrilled when she was able to track her history to The Mayflower and was inducted into The Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was a recent member St Mark’s Lutheran Church, a past member of the College Club of Cleveland Ohio.
Services will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, OH 44026 on Monday, February 10, 2025 starting at 10 am with a visiting hour, 11 am funeral service and luncheon to follow.
