OBITUARY
Julie Fragomeni Kravcisin
June 29, 1979 – February 20, 2021
JULIE FRAGOMENI KRAVCISIN, joined her Heavenly Father on February 20th 2021. She was the daughter of Domenic and Theresa (Rispoli) Fragomeni, sister of Domenic Vincent Fragomeni, wife of Ken Kravcisin, daughter in law of Kay and Jill Kravcisin, mother of Julio and Kent Kravcisin (deceased), niece of Anna and Tony Pietracatella, Sue and Mike Kalan, Frank and Dee Fragomeni, sister in law of Kim and Joe Kolecki, Kelley Owen, and Kristy and David Anderson. Cousin to Laura, Joe, Jackie, Steve, Christian, Taylor, Sofia, Francesco, Anna Marie, and Francisca, aunt to Allie, Violet, Emmalynn, and Zachary.
Julie was an amazing young lady. She was such a bright light in everyone’s life that she touched; so kind, selfless, and caring. She loved children and received her Early Childhood degree from Lakeland Community College and worked at True Sisters Day Care and Kangaroo Pouch Childcare Center for over 15 years.
Born with a congenital heart defect and surviving five open heart surgeries before this last one, Julie’s strength and courage exceeded most. She never let her defect define her. She lived her life with beauty and grace and never ending drive and determination. Her fighting spirit showed us all how to "live fully and love life.”
Julie attended a camp for children with congenital heart defects, Camp Bon Coeur (heartcamp.com) in Lafayette, LA where she found a sense of belonging and community. She attended 8 years as a camper and 5 years as a counselor. We ask that you donate to this camp in Julie’s honor. Any donations received by the family will be sent to Camp Bon Coeur to sponsor other children to attend the camp as she did. Despite her short time on earth, she was deeply loved and brought immense joy and laughter to her family and everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed but her beautiful memories will forever remain with each of us until we can be united with Julie again. Her heart beats no longer; yet her spirit remains with each of us as a footprint on our hearts.
The family will receive friends at the DiCICCO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS. OH 44124, WEDNESDAY 3:00-7:00 pm. Online tribute and condolences www.diciccoandsonsfh.com Relatives and friends are invited to gather for the Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday February 25th at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave. Cleveland, OH 44110.

I worked closely with Julie at Arhaus for a few years. She was so funny and kind. I’ll always remember and think of her fondly when I need to channel my inner fighter. Thinking of Ken and your families and hope you take comfort in knowing she lived a heck of a life with joy and determination like no one I’ve seen before.

Julie was such a light and bundle of Joy in any room. She always brought me hope. She was a role model for Kayleigh and the other CHD kids who she always looked after. Her wedding day was full of love and Joy and we were so honored to be with you all. Ken, Theresa, Domenic and Domenic Jr are the most wonderful family and supporters. Sending lots of love to you all.

I first met Julie when she was just a little girl as a friend of one of my sons at Millridge Elementary School. Such a sweet beautiful little girl I watched grow up into a beautiful young lady. I am shocked and saddened to hear of her passing and wish to send her family all my sincere love and prayers.

Julie and I spent many summers at Camp Bon Coeur. She will be missed by all. I was so glad one year after camp ended her family allowed her to stay a lil longer and Julie and I spent more time together. We showed her some of our Cajun heritage. Julie thanks for being a great friend and always made me laugh. Fly high my dear friend! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘

Julie was my camper my first year as a counselor at Camp Bon Coeur. My second year as a counselor (2 summers later), Julie was on the same connecting flight as we made our way to camp. I recognized her, but she didn’t recognize me at all. When I smiled & said hi, she asked me if I was Lisa Renna from Days of Our Lives. The only thing about me that resembled Lisa Renna was my short hair at the time. We laughed about that a lot that summer.
Julie was such a caring and beautiful person. I’m so honored to have known her. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. You are in my thoughts & prayers. - Liz Fields Brooks

Julie will be missed. I remember us all hanging out at her house having a lot of fun. She was always fun to hang out with. But she was also a great person that would be there for you when you needed her. She went through a lot with her heart condition. But she turned it into such a positive by helping so many others. She will be missed and will always be in the hearts of her friends from Mayfield. You and your family are in our prays tonight.- The Penders

Aunt Julie took me to my first concert. we went and saw Brad Paisley. before the show, we went to taco bell, and they messed up our order, and she told me not to worry about it and kept all the extra food. Later, she even made me a mini scrap book from the concert. one of my favorite memories with her. i love and miss her so much <3

I met Julie when I was a freshman at Mayfield high school, she was the first friend I made. My family just moved to Mayfield the summer before my freshman year and I didn’t know anyone. She was very friendly, helpful showing me around a school which I was not familiar with. Both of us were in the early childhood vocational program of excel tech together. I always remember she had a smile on her face. Over the years after high school, we went our separate ways, but always kept in touch. I’m very saddened by the loss of Julie, I pray that her family and husband find peace and comfort just knowing how many of us truly were touched by Julie.

An amazing woman has gained her angel wings. She was courageous and strong. No matter what she was facing she always did it with a smile. The sound of her laughter would brighten everyone’s day. She was a true friend who would always be there for you. She will forever be loved and missed. My thoughts, prayers and love go out to Ken, Mr & Mrs Fragomeni, and Domenic.
