

Justin Anthony Poffenberger beloved son, brother, and grandson passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 20, 2023. Justin was the loving son of James Cameron Poffenberger III of Cleveland and Betty Caizza-Poffenberger of Sarasota Florida. He was born on May 10, 1999. He leaves behind his loving brother James Cameron Poffenberger IV of Scottsdale Arizona and Grandmother Ann Caizza of Palm Coast Florida. His deceased grandparents Anthony Caizza of Youngstown Ohio, and James and Jean Poffenberger of Cleveland Heights Ohio were a big part of his life. He also leaves his godfather and godmother Tony and Patricia Caizza of Palm Coast Florida, Uncles Scott Poffenberger and Mark Reda, Bernard Niggli, and aunts Mary Cerni, Louise Reda, Oksanna Poffenberger, Cynthia Poffenberger-Niggli.
Justin was a loving, giving, and generous person. He loved his brother, his dog, Gerti, cars, and engaging with friends and family. He also enjoyed political discussions and living in Little Italy where he was a popular member of the Little Italy community.
Justin grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, attending Ruffing Montessori School, University School, and the Leelanau School in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Justin was a skilled outdoorsman. snowboarder and avid cyclist. He is remembered by his family and friends for his loyalty, undying strength, and ability to persevere when confronted with adversity. May his soul rest in peace.
A private Catholic mass will be held for Justin on Monday, July 3 at Holy Rosary Church followed by an interment ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery. The family requests that you respect their wishes for privacy during this difficult time.
