KJ was my African American History Teacher. We both used to get a good laugh, out of how he use to let me teach the class,  because i was teaching him before class. We became good friends. He only 5 yrs older than me. We had a lot of good memories.  He use to call me Playa Playa, because of all the girls i use to talk to. RIH KJ. PS I KNOW ITS  YRS LATE BUT JUST FOUND OUT SINCE I CAME BACK HOME

I just found out about Kevin's passing today at work. I am so sadden for all of you.  Please know I enjoyed taking care of him at CCF and most of all enjoyed our great conversations.  Please know I will never forget him as a patient.  He truely was a patient that left an imprint on my heart and one of my favorite patients that I took care of when I first started here. I want to start by saying I'm so sorry for your loss. I was a student of Mr. Jaketic that moved from New York to Cleveland back when I was in high school. I currently live back in New York and got the news all the way here so thats how special of a person he was. I'm so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. My God be your comfort.

Kevin was a young man who made friends easy, smiles come easy and good times come easy. It is so hard to realize the hole that is left in the lives of his wonderful family and friends. May God Bless and Comfort all of you.

To All of the Jaketics - All of us are blessed to have been touched by Kevin's spirit and loving ways, and I thank you all for sharing him with all of us. May he be able to rest easy now and soar high above us where he can smile at us through the warm sun (on the west coast) and cloudy skies (in Cleveland). He was a husband, father, son, brother, teacher, role model and friend of the highest caliber and will always be missed and loved by those lucky enough to have known him. I was so fortunate to have met Kevin as just a little guy while working for Joe at CSU.  He had an awesome zest for life and a great spirit. I was blessed to get to know Kevin (who along with Brian got us all started calling each other buddy... as Kev-buddy) as a young boy coming to CSU with his proud Dad.  It was an absoulute blast to cart those two boys around the equipment room along with the lanudry...  Kevin's excitement, energy, and smile have always been infectious.  Kevin, we will all miss you dearly.  I am so sorry for all you family has had to endure,... but it was all in love.  Kevin Jaketic was such an easy person to love.  To you Kevin, enjoy that new body that heavin brings... I'll bet it feels good!

Mr. Jaketic was my 11th grade teacher back in 2007, he was proud of his job as well as being a husband and a father!!!
