Laura is survived by her niece, Alissa Iwaniuk (Seth Baker), aunt, Margaret Jarrell, and cousin, Melinda (John) Kline. Preceding Laura in death are her parents, Raymond and Sarah Melinda “Sally” Molson, sister, Dana Iwaniuk, and brother-in-law, George Iwaniuk. A lifelong friend to all critters great and small, Laura is also preceded in death by a host of furry friends including horse Mo, dogs Belle and Maddie, and cats Petey, Moose, and Tootie, among many others.
A graduate of Cleveland State University, Laura worked for University Hospitals for over 40 years before retiring in 2023.
Laura’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chris, Sherry, and the rest of the staff at the Hospice of the Western Reserve’s Cleveland care center for their compassion and comfort.
Anyone wishing to honor Laura’s memory should take a walk in the Metroparks and appreciate nature’s beauty or support their local animal shelter’s most immediate needs.
