Born on April 20, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mary and Carl Chuppa, Rose lived a life centered around family, kindness, and a genuine interest in the people around her. She had a way of making people feel known, welcomed, and loved.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Daddario. She is survived by her beloved children, Michael Daddario, Frank Daddario, Gina Yafanaro (Lou), and Joseph Daddario (Lisa); her brother, Paul Chuppa; and her sister, Grace Matuska. One of thirteen siblings, family was always at the heart of Rose’s life.
She was a cherished grandmother to Nicole, Jennifer, Michael, Justin, Joseph, Jessica, Lauren, Sal, and Joey, and a proud great-grandmother to ten. She also leaves behind a large extended family and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
A lifelong and unapologetic Cleveland sports fan, Rose faithfully watched her teams through the best of times, and, more importantly, the very worst of times. She took tremendous pride in her work at her son’s office, where she loved being part of the day-to-day. When she wasn’t at the office, she could often be found at her weekly bingo games or enjoying one of her favorite pastimes, a trip to the casino.
But more than anything, Rose loved being a mother and grandmother. She loved showing up for the people she loved. She was there for countless dance recitals, plays, softball and football games, graduations, Sunday dinners, celebrations, and all of the ordinary moments in between. She never needed a special occasion to be part of her family’s lives: she simply wanted to be there, and just showed up.
A Celebration of Rose's life will be held at the DiCICCO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS. OH. 44124, MONDAY September 28th from 3:00-6:00 PM. Online tribute and condolences www.diciccoandsonsfh.com
