Mary was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and dear friend. She shared 41 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Robert Barta.
Mary was the devoted mother of three children: John Barta (Caroline), Robert Barta (Brittany), and Catherine Barta. She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren, Logan, Jack, Grant, Olivia, and Henry, who brought immense joy and love into her life.
Mary loved cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and making memories with her family, especially during visits to Marblehead, Ohio. Her warmth, generosity, and love for those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. and Catherine Ann Lose.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her children and grandchildren; and her siblings, Joann Silvestro (Dino), Carol Nemeth, Joseph Lose, Cathy Canzona (Carmen), Patricia Barbieri, Deborah Lose, and Timothy Lose. Sister in law; Bonnie Dolezal (husband James, deceased), Jack Barta (wife Pamela, deceased). She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of longtime friends.
Mary’s love and legacy will live on through the many lives she touched. Her family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and carry her love in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mary’s memory to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, an organization that provides books to children. Mary loved reading to her grandchildren, and we hope this gift will allow other children and families to share the same joy of reading that she treasured.
