Mary Ellen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 18, 1934 to Viola and Aloysius Becker. She is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She met her husband of over 60 years, Joe, on a blind date and they married in July of 1954. Mary Ellen realized her dream of having a large family.
