Mary V. Mackin

MARY VERONICA MACKIN (nee Skorepa) age 88 of Highland Heights, passed peacefully with dignity and grace on December 22, 2016 surrounded by those she loved. She proudly worked for the Cuyahoga County Treasurer’s Office for thirty years. Mary was celebrated for her loving spirit and generosity, as well as her warmth, sensitivity and sense of humor. Her legacy is carried on by her six daughters Karen (Gary) Kasten, Holly (Daniel) Roeder, Laurie (Randy) Essel, Robin (Bud) Dessoffy, Denise (Sandy, deceased) Miot, Christine (Richard) Eder, sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. All whom loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, and selflessness. She will be remembered lovingly by her family and longtime friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Ursuline, 2600 Lander Road, Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124.
