Melissa “Missy” Renae Camino, age 60, passed away peacefully on September 29th, 2026 at 4:44 a.m. which felt symbolic to her 4 loving daughters. Her legacy is one filled with laughter, unconditional love, and the strength of Christ.

She was born on December 17th, 1965 in Denver, Colorado to mother Sandra and father William Edens. Raised in Nebraska, Melissa grew up with siblings Stephanie, Shauna, and Don. She was also very close with her grandparents Fred and Jennie Counce who she enjoyed spending summers with as a child.

Melissa worked hard as a Manager for Bank of America and Appraiser for Camino Appraisal Services and R3 Review. She was married to Alfonso Camino for 20 loving years. Melissa was a dedicated wife, home maker and mother. She always said that being a mom to her 4 girls was the greatest honor and accomplishment of her life. She was known above all for her kind heart and positive spirit. She made everyone feel loved, safe, and seen.

Melissa is survived by her mother Sandra, children Christina, Sarah, Madison, and Eva and siblings Stephanie, Shauna, and Don. She is also survived by her beloved dog Pebbles, who gave her lots of comfort and companionship over the past couple of years.

Her daughters held a celebration of life filled with pink flowers, her favorite color, on October 3rd. She will be missed dearly and her family will carry her in their hearts for the rest of their lives. If you see a pink flower, please think of Melissa and her sweet loving spirit. May she rest in eternal peace.
