My condolences to the Lanese family.  I have very fond memories of Mike. I began working for Riser Foods in 1996 and soon was on a starting time with Mike.  He was always professional in his treatment of his co-workers.  I never felt anything but respect for him.  I remember he was always smiling.  I had heard when I left Riser Foods he was sorry to see me go...and now I am saddened to hear he is gone.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with his family for I know that he is in the care of our Lord!

A long time ago, Mike, bill Gillum and my brother Dan Kingland were good friends. Each time I think of Dan (every day) I know he and Mike will be looking down upon use all, guiding our every move with the help of God.

Dear Mike, Our deepest Condolences to You, Your Mother and the entire Family for your loss.  Take Solace in that your Father is now in Eternal Peace!  He has a Great Legacy!

As a child whenever I heard the lawn mower puttering a few houses away, I knew I could look down and see Mr. Lanese cutting the grass in his long black socks.
