MICHAEL L. RANALLO age 89, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away October 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Corrine "Corky" (nee Vobornik) for 64 years; dearest father of Michael (Anne), James (Beth), Jay and Cara Kirtley (Barry); devoted grandfather of Erika Ranallo, Brittany Smith-Krepshaw (Lucas), Marisa Ranallo (Nate), Noah Wood, Brooke Smith, Michael Ranallo and Dylan Wood; great grandfather of Sophia and Reese; dear brother of Sam (deceased) (Martha), Ray (deceased) (Jeanette), Carole Revelt (Jean, deceased), Jerry (deceased), Francine McNulty (Leo, deceased) and Larry (Katie); uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. After graduating from Collinwood High School in 1946, he served two years in the U.S Army in occupied Japan. After earning an electrical engineering degree from Fenn College, he worked at Clark Control/GTE Sylvania for 25 years, then at PEPCO until retiring in 1995.
