One of my fondest memories as a young girl was driving in my parent's red station wagon, a Chevrolet Malibu with my kid brother Pat who'd ride in the back of the wagon. We were so excited about arriving there. This was our summer vacation to Cleveland which we ritually did every summer.
The highlight of our trip was visiting Maria Cicora e Micheline but more fun for us kids was seeing Tony who would get so happy and excited when we would come through the door visiting. He smiled with a big grin and had a twinkle in his eyes. He became boisterous and vocal. He was happy to see us.
Maria Cicora his mother would say, "don't pay attention to Tony he's just excited to see you guys". Trying to calm him down. I knew that Tony greeted us in a special way, in a different way, his way. We all knew that he loved to see Angelo and Marie and us kids from Canada.
Angelo and Marie have gone and so have Maria and Micheline Cicora. Now Tony has gone to join them. I hope there's a big red station wagon in heaven so they can all take a spin in the Chevy Malibu.
Happy Motoring Tony!!! We'll miss you!
