

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert B. Billman, Jr.; children, Barbara Stunder and Beth Bertelsen; grandchildren, Stephanie, Rachel, Shaun, Matthew Elliott, Amy, and Joslyn; and great-grandchildren, Izabel, Ani, Wallace, and Robert. Nancy is predeceased by her son, Robert B. Billman, III.
Nancy, born in Toledo, Ohio, was the second daughter to Henrietta and Harlan Hickenlooper. She was president of her high school senior class. She earned a degree in elementary education from Bowling Green State University where she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.
She began her first job in 1951 as a 2nd grade teacher at Bolton School, in the South Euclid-Lyndhurst school system. In 1954-55 she taught the dependents of U.S. Army personnel in Germany. While in Europe she enjoyed extensive traveling. In 1955-58, she taught at Rowland School in South Euclid-Lyndhurst.
She married Robert on July 7, 1957, settled in Cleveland Heights, OH, and continued teaching until starting a family. Thereafter, she was a stay-at-home mom, but began her life-long volunteer work. She volunteered for many organizations, including The Church of the Saviour and Delta Gamma Sorority.
Her family moved to Pepper Pike, OH, in 1974 for four years, then with a work transfer, to St Louis, MO, until 1984, with a transfer back to Pepper Pike. In 2017, they moved to Breckenridge Village in Willoughby, Ohio.
As her children grew up, the family travelled extensively in the U.S. and Canada, camping at many National Parks. Later she greatly enjoyed visiting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service 10:30am March 20, at the Osborn Community Plaza at Ohio Living Breckenridge Village, 36851 Ridge Road, Willoughby 44094. Private inurnment Knollwood Cemetery.
