Pasquale "Pat" L. Sbrocco

PASQUALE “Pat” SBROCCO, age 91.Llongtime resident of Mayfield Hts., found his way home on January 17, 2017. Pat was the beloved husband of 60 years to his late wife, Ellie (nee Rini). Loving father of Deb Piteo (Tony deceased), Donna Baltas (Peter) and Patrick Sbrocco. Cherished Poppy of Kathryn, Nicholas (Alyssa) and Alexander Baltas, Coleen Crowley (Ryan) and Michael Piteo and Jared and Sarah Sbrocco. Dear brother of the late Frank (Jean) and Joanne Kulway (Michael). Special uncle, cousin and devoted friend to many. Pat was a member of the “Greatest Generation” and was a WWII Army veteran serving with the 171st Engineers in France and Germany. He owned and operated Rini’s Fruit Market in the Terminal Tower concourse in downtown Cleveland. Known as “the fruitman” he sold delicious fruit and created one of a kind gourmet fruit baskets. Pat belonged to the Collinwood Memories and was recently recognized as a 50 year member of Gilmour Council 310 of the Knights of Columbus. He deeply loved his family, his country and the Lord and is now at peace. Special thanks to the staff and residents of The Belvedere of Westlake for their care and kindness. Donations can be made in Pat’s memory to St. Clare Church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Monday January 23 at St. Clare Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
