the age of 66. Robert, also known as Bob, Dad, or Grandad Bob was born in Charlotte
NC on June 2, 1954. His family moved to Maryland when he was two years old and he
resided there for most of his life. He was a writer, musician, poet, and a skilled
carpenter who enjoyed building things with his hands. His talent with words helped him

listens. His music was written with the passion, honesty, and love that he showed the
ones around him and it is a gift to continue to hear his voice. For many years he owned
and operated Lindsay Construction Company and worked on numerous projects in the
MD/DC/VA area. One of his favorite projects was a remodeling project at FedEx Field,
which was a special place for Robert, who was an avid fan of the Washington
Redskins. Robert enjoyed being outdoors gardening or going for walks with his dog,
Virginia. He also had a knack for spotting the best finds at thrift stores. Robert loved
guitars and when he was not playing, he was working on reconstructing old ones. He
had a talent for making old things look new again and recently was using his talents to
remodel an old farm house in Gates Mills, OH, where he resided for the last four years
with his loving girlfriend, Connie Kellers. Robert especially loved his family and is
