Robert O. Sparker

Robert O. Sparker, (Bob) 97 passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024. Born on June 30, 1926 in Cleveland Ohio, Robert graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and then enlisted in the Navy during WWII. After his service ended, he attended Miami University of Ohio, where he graduated with a degree in Art and Photography. He held several executive positions in the advertising industry before starting his own photography business. Robert is survived by his children, Scott (Susan), Steve (Janet), Stuart (Lisa), and Stacy Sigler. Preceding Robert in death are his parents: Otto and Mary, his former wife, Virginia, his brother, William and his good friend Sylvia. He was a loving grandfather of Scotty, Shaun, Shannon, Shelley, Michael, Patrick, Katy, Stuart, Matthew, Brian, Andy, Tim, Angela, and 18 great grandchildren. He loved to travel, especially by car, to visit many of them over the years. For those fortunate enough to have known him, he had a great sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. The family would like to thank the aides and nurses at Maple Ridge Senior Living and Miracle City Hospice for the care and attention they provided. Bob never liked to be the center of attention, and per his wishes, there will be no services; however, a Celebration of His Life is planned for July 27, 2024, Graveside Service 11:00 am at Whitehaven Memorial Park 615 SOM Center Road Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143.
