Ronald Iafornaro

RONALD IAFORNARO, age 83, passed away August 8, 2025. Beloved son of Sue and Elmer Iafornaro, devoted brother of Sue Ann Iafornaro (deceased), Sherrie Lombardo (nee Iafornaro), brother-in-law of Joseph A. Lombardo, and uncle of Joseph D. Lombardo. “RON I” meant a lot to a lot of people, creating family memories and lasting friendships spanning decades. Ronnie lived a great life, spending time in Chicago and Hollywood as an accomplished music executive with Motown Records. However, he never strayed too far from his Cleveland roots, settling down and embarking on another successful career in sporting goods and athletic apparel. Perhaps most distinctly, Ronnie served his country as a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Ronnie had a way with people and networking that was second to none, and almost everyone remembered him for his gift of gab and being last to leave the party. He touched many lives with his influence and ability to liven up any situation. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for the Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday August 14th at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6850 Mayfield Rd. Gates Mills, OH. 44040.
