Just saw this! I've known Rose and her mother for over 45 years, as she was a friend of my Aunt Eleanore Skunta. I have done work for her and mom Rose since they lived on The corner of Silsby and Washington Blvd. and then their home in Mayfield Hgts.
I serviced her furnace last fall and who would have thought that that was the last time I would see her again. I always hugged her when I would leave. She was certainly a character.

I loved Rose and wondered why she didn't call this spring to have me "double check" her air conditioning system (she really didn't trust the condo guys)

She is in heaven with Jesus and Eleanore and having a good time.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and friends during this difficult time. May the promise found at 1Thessalonians 4:14 which reads: For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too the true God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus. May this bring you comfort knowing that there is a future for the ones that we have lost in death.

In Fond Remembrance of Cousin "Dolly Rose" Consolo... Rose exemplified being a devoted, loving and caring daughter to her parents. I will always remember that Rose brought her sister, Carmen "Honey Rose" to care for her during her battle with bone cancer. For all these qualities and many, many more, we honor our cousin for her faithfulness.
In Loving Memory...

Regarding her family and friends she was fiercely loyal. She was fiercely opinionated. Well, come to think of it, she was just fierce! And she is fiercely loved and missed. I was so happy to be one among her many friends.
