My family is still hurting over the loss of my Uncle Roy, and 10 weeks later we have the additional pain of losing Auntie Linda. Time spent with them was always lively and fun. I will miss them both all of my life.

Roy was always  kind,very loving,great family man,and good brother in law. He endured through may hardships in his life . He handled his health difficulties with perseverance and great courage. I will miss him and am comforted by many great memories that I have of him and family over the years. My deep condolences to his loving  family ,especially to his wife,children and grandchildren. No one can understand what it feels like to lose a spouse, parent, sibling, relative or friend unless they've been through it because the feelings of grief hit different parts of your heart depending on what that person was to you.  Regardless, the loss is no easier to bear, the void is no easier to fill, and the yearning to speak, to touch, and to share life with that person is just as strong.  Uncle Roy had a special place in my heart and I will never forget the day he danced with me at my wedding.  He provided me fatherly comfort and love during that dance and we talked about how much we missed my father and how my father was watching over all of us.  
I extend that comfort and love to my Auntie Linda for the loss of her spouse as I know Uncle Roy will walk beside her in her time of grief and will carry her when it's too heavy to bear; to my Auntie Marilyn for the loss of her brother as I know Uncle Roy and my dad have been reunited and will watch over their sister; to my cousins Rick and Gina for the loss of their father because our parents are our first protectors, advocates, and friends - No matter what age we are, we always want our mom and dad; and to everyone else who had a special place in their heart for my Uncle Roy: let him live on in your heart, your mind, and your soul. Take comfort in sweet memories of times shared together and keep the family in your prayers.
