SALVADOR "SAM" TAMBURELLO age 65, passed away June 6, 2026. Beloved son of the late Anthony and Rosalie Tamburello. Dearest brother of Lynn Backowski (Tony, deceased), Susan Tamburello (deceased), Mary Ann O'Brien (Paul, deceased) and Nancy Tamburello. Uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Such a kind and generous soul. Whenever someone needed help, Sam was always there. And of course there was always a tool for every job. He was an amazing son to his parents, a wonderful brother, and a sincere friend. Poor guy had to deal with four sisters, who loved him dearly. Anywhere he went, he always knew someone and would stop to chat. And he LOVED to chat! Always smiling and so loyal to family and friends. At times, you would be talking with him and look over, and there he was--sleeping. Earlier years were spent working on cars, hunting, fishing, model trains, setting off fireworks, going camping with his buddies, traveling for Nascar races, collecting Betty Boops, or zipping around on his motorcycle.
He always enjoyed talking and being around the younger generation, and had the utmost patience in teaching them. Meeting up at McDonalds was a special time, and the annual Pumpkin Bus met up with the kids--Anthony & Liz, Rosie & Al, Molly & Jason and Sean & Beth, as well as the next generation with the grand nieces and nephews--Margaret, Aidan, Alaina, Austin,Theresa and Anto. He will be greatly missed.
