Salvatore "Sam" Vella

many decades before retiring at 80 years old. He was an amazing cook who routinely made Sunday

sauce and pizza for family and friends. He was also a devoted husband of 69 years to his beloved wife

Genevieve, who precedes him in death.

Sam was a loving father to Linda Panzarella and Corinne (Jim) Bordonaro. He was blessed with three

grandchildren: Danielle, Sandy (Rachel), and Salvatore (Jennifer); in addition to his great grandchildren:

Caitlin, Tommy, Benjamin, Allison, Kellen and Gianna, in whom he took much joy.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings Vincent, Tony, and Melina. He is survived

by his children, grandchildren, and sister Mary Coode.

Visitation and Entombment will be private and for immediate family. However, all are welcome to

celebrate Sam's life at a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Tuesday December 28 at St. Clare Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd. Lyndhurst, OH 44124. Online condolences www.diciccoandsonsfh.com
