SALVATORE “SAM” A. AMOROSO, U.S Army World War II Veteran who was known for his generous soul, died peacefully on January 24th at age 94 in his home surrounded by his adoring family. He was a member of the Collinwood Memories Club and a cornice master who was invaluable in the intricate restoration of the Ohio Theatre. He will be remembered fondly as a man who could fix anything, sausage and pizza maker, singer, dancer and joke-teller. Sam will be dearly missed by his loving wife Marge and beloved children Carmen (Janie), Susan Abruzzo (Dan), Michael (Rita), Sandy, Joseph (Susan), John, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brother Joseph, sister Betina and sister Mary. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Sam’s memory to Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110.
