
SHERMAN H. FRIEDMAN, 93 of Palm Harbor Florida, died Monday April 22, 2013 at Grande Village Manor, Twinsburg, Ohio. He was born in DesMoines Iowa, lived in Cincinnati for twenty years and moved to Florida in 1972. He was married to Martha for 64 years who preceeded him in death in 2005. He retired from Kane's Furniture at the age of sixty five. He and Martha then started to travel after their retirement.They traveled throughout the U.S., Alaska , Canada and Isreal. Sherman served as a volunteer in the Israeli army. Sherman loved to write, he enjoyed sending regular letters to his grandchildren spoken through their dog Frieda's voice. He also published a couple of books and enjoyed speaking to groups about his travels. Survivors include his two daughters Carol J. Gale of Reminderville, Ohio and Beverly A. Ferman of San Jose, Ca., his granddaughter Jennifer L. Dise of North Palm Beach, Florida and two grandsons Scott E. Gale of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and Joseph Ferman of San Jose, Ca.
