I remember the times we visited Grandma Marcia's home; Susan was always smiling, even while Grandma Marcia was giving her her Cystic Fibrosis treatments. I never heard Susan or Grandma Marcia complain; they had a bond unlike any other. I know how difficult this time is and send you my warmest sympathies.

Lanna....I was so sad to read about your Mom’s passing.  I still have fond memories of  you and your Mom during the time you were taking piano lessons.  I send my condolences to you and your entire family.

It was my great pleasure to meet Susan a little over a year ago but in that short time, we became fast friends.  She had a creative heart and a passion for helping people that shone through everything she did.  Her smile was infectious, and her sense of humor made me laugh daily.  She will truly be missed!

My condolences to Marcia, Debbie and Nancy on the loss of Susan. She was the sweetest, nicest person.
I heard about her death and it recalled a memory I had many years ago. We were in the same class in Sunday school and I had come over to the Greenberg's when we were both in 5th grade. Susan had her ears pierced and I was so jealous. I asked my parents if I could get my ears pierced like Susan.

The world has lost a bright light.  But now heaven is even brighter! Miss Susan, as we knew her, came into our lives at just the right time. She cared for our children, teaching them to sew and make crafts.  Plus helped them grow into well crafted adults!

A beauty inside and out!   Beautiful smile, glistening eyes, talented hands, and a warm loving heart.   We shared shabbats, stories of the kids at agnon, and the love of gardening and sewing.   A tremendous loss for the family, her friends and the community.

To Susan’s family, my heart goes out to each of you. Susan was such a bright light with a beautiful, strong spirit and a sparkle in her eyes. She was my best friend in the 6th grade at Belvoir Elementary School. We had some grand adventures together – stalking our teacher, dancing to Motown hits in her basement (Susan was an incredible dancer from an early age!), sleepovers. I loved catching up with her at our high school reunions. She holds a special place in my heart. May her memory always be a blessing to everyone who loves her.

So sorry to hear. Susan lived across the street from me and we were in many classes together.  Debbie was also close with my sister Alison.  She was a lovely woman and I will miss her at the next reunion.
