Verginia Sanduc

Verginia Sanduc (nee Vladescu), age 90, of Shaker Heights, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Ionel, dearest mother of Cristina Nedelcu (Paul), devoted grandmother of Monica Wilson (Douglas); loving great grandmother of Ezra and Isla Wilson; dear sister of Maria Nastase (Constantin, deceased). Verginia was the strong matriarch of our family and an ultimate survivor. She was fully devoted to each an every one of us in the family. Friends of hers and ours found her sweet and loved her dearly. Our Mamao showered us with a lifetime of gifts and unwavering affection.Verginia came to the US when she was 70 out of pure love just to be with us. Her spirit was generous, she was kind and forgiving. Her granddaughter and her great-grandchildren meant the world to her, but as she got sick her world became smaller and smaller. She struggled with many medical afflictions for a long time and over time her generous heart became tired. The bright light of her soul got dimmer and it eventually collapsed. Even though her last days of life were painful and chaotic, in the very end she transitioned easily and peacefully. We are relieved that her suffering has stopped. All of us will miss your loving touch, our dearest Mamao. May you have a wonderful journey among the angels. Funeral service 11am Monday March 10 at THE DiCICCO AND SONS FUNERAL HOME 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS, OH 44124 where the family will receive friends 10am until time of services.
