Wanita and I worked in the same office at Cleveland Hospital Council back in the early 1960s.  She, Joyce Tracy (also a CHC private secretary) could always be seen together - we were the best of friends. Her nickname then was "Izzy".  How fun she was!  We were always joking and teasing.  I was the first to marry and have children, and, through the business of life,  and living so far apart - we eventually lost touch. But when my son moved to Cleveland Heights recently, it seemed to be the perfect opportunity to get in touch with her again, so I googled her name.  In the fall, I discovered that, sadly, her husband and daughter Lisa  had both died.  I left a condolence message, but I never heard from her. And now I know why.  I can't tell you how very devastated I was to learn of her passing - I had always envisioned a fun reunion between the three of us.  Thank you, family, for posting these wonderful pictures, these memories so special to her.  She had not changed one bit.  My deepest sympathy to you all.  May God bless and comfort you in your time of grief.

My deepest condolences and prayers to the immediate family of Wanita (Tom)Grzybowski.  Still the pretty, lovely, smiling young lady from the 60's I so fondly remember.  We were co-workers at the Greater Cleveland Hospital Association perhaps our fist positions in the work force.  I recall Wanita first dating Tom and attending my wedding in 1963.  I have them included in my album such an attractive couple.  They are together smiling and watching over her special family.  They have departed much to soon and leave a great void with all that they love.

Wanita lived for her family...what a loss...now she is with her beloved Tom and Lisa...and how she talked about her wonderful son and grandchildren...she will be missed..brings baack alot of great memories at Eastwood...she ran the place...an amazing person!

I'm so sad to hear of Wanita's passing.  We were best friends in Jr. High, laughed so hard, did so many goofy things.  I spent every weekend at this loving family's house, learning how to make Marguarite's fantastic Sicilian pasta sauce.  Our paths crossed again too briefly 12 yrs. ago when I was living in Shaker for a while, and we lost touch again but she was always in my mind and heart.  She will be so missed.  Joan (Patti) Hart

Brian and famiy,

I always enjoyed seeing and talking to Wanita around the office and when we would bump into each other in the community. We often would swap stories about our shared Italian heritage and kid each other about who was more of a "real" Italian. She always brought a smile to my face and help me out in any way she could. My sympathy to you for your loss.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom.  You will see her again someday.
