We are sad to announce the passing of Alan M. Slewett of Aventura, Florida on April 9, 2024. Born in New York on September 25, 1941 to Evelyn and Nathan Slewett. He moved to Miami Beach with his parents and his brother, Robert, as a teenager. Graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School and Florida Southern College. Alan was a business owner and realtor. His greatest pleasures were dining out with family, playing golf and traveling. He continued his family's legacy of supporting Boys Town of Jerusalem as well the National Parkinson Foundation. Alan is survived by his daughter, Karen Slewett, son Philip Slewett, sister-in-law Sheila Slewett (wife of his deceased brother, Robert Slewett), nephew Gregory Slewett, and niece Danielle (Slewett) Zimmerman. Funeral Service and burial at Lakeside Memorial Park 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, Florida 33172 at 11 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024. Shiva to follow.
