Alan Somerstein

Alan Somerstein, 54, fought a long hard battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 8, 2012. Beloved husband of 28 years to Iris, loving father of Bobby and Lindsay, adored son of Myrna and late Robert, dear brother of Michael and Scott. He is going to be missed by family and friends but memories of him will last forever. Services held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 2 PM Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel, 5900 SW 77 Ave, Miami, Fl 33143

Although I had never met Alan in person, I spoke with him numerous times over the last 8 months as his case manager. Although very ill himself, his main concern was for his family. May the wonderful memories you have made through the years sustain you through the days ahead.
